Massively multiplayer online games or MMOG is incredibly popular nowadays. This is probably because it allows anyone from all parts of the world to play together simultaneously in an online environment. Most internet users have heard of Warcraft phenomenon or even Ragnarok. MMOG is different from traditional computer games because the traditional type only allows several players to play at once as opposed to thousands of people logging in to play.
Nowadays, a lot of gaming fans is fascinated with the game called Second Life. Basically, this game involves players go to an online environment and create what they want from it. Sounds confusing? Not really. Second Life merely provides the platform wherein users can build anything and interact with one another. For example, “residents” need to create buildings, storefronts, and clothes for their users. There is no ready-made structure or avatars here because people are encouraged to build their creativity and imagination.
But Second Life is taking its game a step further because it is now available on your mobile phone. This graphic-heavy game can now be accessed on a 40 3G and WiFi enabled phone. The main downside to this is that Vollee, the company which helped Second Life make the move, may not be able to provide the best version of Second Life because of a phone’s limited capability.
