At first glance, the E70 looks unassuming and not like a serious PDA phone at all. Its candy bar design, tiny numeric keypad and, a small 2.1-inch screen makes it look like a phone for a high school student. But flip up this phone and its charms will be revealed inside. The unique QWERTY keyboard is actually split in half; one found on the right side and the other on the left. When the phone is open, its screen will change its orientation from the vertical to the horizontal.
When the E70 is closed, this phone is just about the size of any average cell phone. It measures 2.1 by 0.9 by 4.6 inches although it is little heavier at around 4.6 ounces. Its shape can be unattractive though because there is a hinge for opening and closing the keyboard that makes holding the phone uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, its audio quality is just about average and dialing the buttons can be tricky because of the miniature keypad. An impressive aspect of the E70 is its battery life because it can run up to 10 hours of talk time. Overall, the features found in the Nokia E70 can be quite substantial; it has –mail support, a collection of Symbian office editors and office documents, and an organizer.
